如同五月份的理事會所提到，經和本計畫的其他三大組織(世台聯合基金會、臺灣生命教育學會、文藻外語大學)積極會商與協調，以及獲得另一筆經費補助，全美中文學校聯合總會已重新修訂辦法，並大幅提高補助金額，繼續招募參與生命教育課程計畫的教師和學校。在此請各位呼籲中文學校負責人鼓勵該校對生命教育這一領域有興趣、有熱忱者，一起來參與此一有意義的生命教育課程訓練，希望能將生命教育方面的知識注入我們中文學校孩子們未來的學習課程。
以下為主要修改的部分:
1. 學校開生命教育課程一年三十小時將獲得$2,500的補助
2. 教師受訓完取得生命教育教師資格證書即可獲得$1,000的補助
3. 教師還是必須由學校負責人推薦，但學校不一定要參加此一計畫
4. 教師和學校分別和總會簽訂協議書，不再相互牽制
5. 報名截止日期: 6/30/2017 (或額滿為止)
