                   獎章授獎辦法

宗旨：為提倡「熱愛生命」之精神，並鼓勵在各自領域有具體作為

      足以實踐事蹟者。

對象：全球各國人士。

推薦時間：每年三月一日起至六月卅日止。

申請類別：

(1)    勇敢事蹟：不畏環境艱難或疾病痛苦，而能呈現其勇氣與毅力足資褒揚者。

(2)    愛心事蹟：捨己救人，友愛孝親或其他愛心事蹟，散發人性之光與熱足資褒揚者。

(3)    努力事蹟：就其個人資賦，因努力不懈，超越上天賦予之極限，其精神可讓世人學習褒揚者。

(4)    成就事蹟：經長期奮鬥，鍥而不捨，終能有所成就而嘉惠社會大眾者。

推薦辦法：各機關社團、學校或個人均得依據該辦法向該基金會推薦候選人。                                     

(1)   推薦請使用規定之推薦表，填妥申請類別，具體優良事蹟外並檢具有關證明資料文件。

(2)   請附候選人自傳一篇(可由候選人父母或推薦人代筆，至少三千字)，內容包含候選人之優良德行、傑出成就或奮鬥經過及對周遭影響與社會貢獻。

(3)   請附與候選人優良事蹟之有關照片（包括二吋照片二張及生活照20張）。

評審：由本基金會銘聘社會公益賢達人士五至七人組成評審委員會，就各地所彙整候選人資料逐一進行初審、派員調查、複審、決審程序評定得獎人選。

評審與公佈：預定當年十二月上旬初審、次年一月上旬複審、二月上旬決審，並於三月召開記者會公佈得獎名單。

表揚：熱愛生命獎章由本基金會透過大眾傳播及網路向社會介紹表揚，並編印勵志圖書，介紹優異事蹟，其中家境清寒者，
