密西根舞獅隊邀請密西根中文學校一起參加社區公益活動，捐贈衣物及聖誕禮物給Brilliant Detroit (請見flyer) 。我們很難想像底特律有些家庭的父母因故缺席，造成孩子吃穿冏困、無法就學的困境。我們不能代他們的父母照顧這些孩子，但是我們可以捐贈出多餘的物資，給貧困的孩子一個希望，您就是從北極坐馴鹿來送禮物、帶來光亮的聖誕老人🤶🎅。

捐出的物品將會分裝給底特律低收入戶的孩子們，讓年幼的孩童穿戴暖和，有個溫暖的寒冬及快樂的聖誕節。請家長鼓勵學生收集整理，11/18帶來學校，放在借書櫃台旁的集裝箱，我們將在12/2( Sat)捐出。

說明：Brillant Detroit 是底特律社區庇護中心，專門幫忙 0-8歲高需求家庭的幼童，輔導就學、照顧身心健康、提供穩定生活。

Hope you all enjoyed the summer. The new school year will start on September 9th on Saturday at Ward Church (40000 Six Mile Road, Northville, MI 48168). Chinese classes begins at 1:30 PM and ends at 3:30 PM.

– Tardy: Students who are 15+ minutes late or 15+ minute early dismissal for school hours are considered tardy, and will not be qualified for perfect attendance award.

– Please remind all children that DO NOT RUN or EAT in the hallway. Snacking is allowed in the classroom during the breaks but please keep clean of chairs, tables, and carpet. Please remind all children to wash their hands before and after snacking.

* Please refrain your children from damaging church’s properties including but not limited to pianos, chalkboards, drums, computers, lighting, audio system, phones. Parents will be responsible for the compensation if their children made damage to church’s properties.

This Saturday will be the last day of our 2022-2023 school year. We will have our annual graduation/end of school year ceremony after the first class session. The program includes Chinese Yoyo, Shadow Play (Chinese Puppet Show), Martial Arts, Dough Figurines (Chinese Play-Doh), Chinese Percussion Instruments, Chinese Dance, Calligraphy, Chinese Knotting, Paper Cutting (The program might have small changes without notice)

認字檢定 Chinese Word Recognition

(June 10, 2023)
Chinese word recognition evaluation will be conducted this Saturday as communicated by the teachers to encourage all students’ participation and promote students’ interests of self-learning. The students that pass the evaluation will receive certificates and gift cards at Graduation ceremony on 6/17/23. If you’re not able to pick up the gift cards at Graduation ceremony, please pick them up within the first month of next school year by 10/7/23. Gift cards not picked up after 10/7/23 will belong to the school.

2023-2024 School Year Pre-Registration starts on 6/10/2023

The online registration form for the 2023-2024 school year will go live this Saturday (June 10). Michigan Chinese Educators Association (MCEA) is offering a Chinese Folk Arts Summer Camp in Northville, Michigan. The camp will run from August 14th to August 18th, Monday to Friday from 9AM to 4PM.  Students ages Kindergarten – 8th grader in school year 2023-2024 are welcome to participate. No Chinese language skill is required.

The program includes Chinese Yoyo, Shadow Play (Chinese Puppet Show), Martial Arts, Dough Figurines (Chinese Play-Doh), Chinese Percussion Instruments, Chinese Dance, Calligraphy, Chinese Knotting, Paper Cutting (The program might have small changes without notice)
