MCS will be hosting a graduation ceremony at Suite 1 & 2 @ 2:30pm to celebrate with the Senior students who will be completing their journey of learning Mandarin. Our graduates are:
Allen Wang
Vincent Fong
Zhi Xuan Teh
Wan Xuan Teh
Kaitlyn Tan
They spent years learning Mandarin language, Chinese culture and history. Thanks to the parents and teachers who accompanied them in this journey.
Thank you Teachers for teaching the kids, providing students an opportunity and environment to learn Mandarin. We have two teachers reaching milestones for teaching at MCS.
Teresa Yin, 15 years teaching at MCS
Ling-Shang Shen, 10 years teaching at MCS
Unfortunately, due to personal reasons, Teacher Hannah and Vicky had decided not to continue their teaching at MCS in the 2025-26 school year. We sincerely thank you for your dedication and effort in teaching our students, and you will be missed.
We have 40 students enrolled for the 2025-26 school year. However, the number of students enrolled for 1st grade, 2nd grade and 5th grade do not meet the minimum requirement of 4 students per class, hence there is a possibility to merge 1st and 2nd grade, 5th grade and 6th grade classes in 2025-26. I will contact the parents and teachers of 1st, 2nd, 5th and 6th grade in late July to discuss this matter. For the school year 2025-26, 3rd and 4th grade, 7th and 8th grade will continue as merged classes like this school year.
The New Registration for the 2025-26 school year already started on May 17. If you (current enrolled families) would like to save the $20 registration fee in 2025-26, please register and pay before June 7. Please click the link below for registration and the 2025-26 MCS Open Enrollment poster. Do select the “Existing Family” link. Feel free to share the link with your friends and families who are interested in learning Traditional Chinese. We will also offer CFL for Children and CFL for Adults in the 2025-2026 School Year.
MCS resumes classes this Saturday, 5/31. We only have 2 weeks remaining including this week and June 7 (Graduation Ceremony) to complete the 2024-25 School Year!! Traditional Class 1:30pm – 3:30pm. CFL 3:30pm – 5:00pm.
All classes will conduct the word recognition event this Saturday. I hope all students have already studied the materials provided by the teacher. Students who participated in this event will receive a certificate and gift card.
本週六下午三點,Northville High School的畢業生將在Ward Church進行畢業游行。如果不想在放學後被游行影響,麻煩請在入口處4的停車場停放您的車輛。
Northville High School will be onsite for their senior parade again. They will be using Lots 5, 6 and 7 and will start to show up around 3pm. If parents parked in the back in Lot 4 it would probably be easier to leave through the crossroad exit north to avoid the congestion.
