這周六11月30日休課，祝大家有個愉快的感恩節。下周六，12月7日為上課日，時間為早上10點至中午12點。切記！
There will be no class on 11/30, enjoy the wonderful thanksgiving holiday. Classes will resume on 12/7 from 10am to 12pm.
MCS Annual Food Sale Fundraiser – PRE-ORDER Only. Order NOW until 4-December, VERY LIMITED will be available on-site for Sale) Some items need to be ordered by 30-Nov.
It is time to help raise funds to support the MCS! Our goal is to raise $1,000+ net profit.
Due to COVID and food regulations, the church has provided, the sale will be pre-order/pick-up only.
Pre-payment is requested with Zelle to MCS account (michiganchineseschool@gmail.com), cash, or check. Organizers also have Venmo and Paypal available if needed.
Delivery Date for pre-order food items is 14-Dec-2024.

1. Order Food Items
- Consider buying a few items as gifts for the holidays or bringing to a holiday party
- Share with friends and family, co-workers in the area who might be able to stop by the church or make arrangements with you
- Some items are perishable, consider bringing a cooler bag on pick up day
- Pre-payment is requested due to church rules – pay with Zelle, check, or cash
- You will receive an email with the total amount from our organizers with instructions on how to pre-pay.
2. Sign-up to Volunteer to support the fundraiser – Volunteers are needed to
- Pick up food from vendors (Novi, East Lansing, other)
- Create order summaries for pick-up date
- Organize and help distribute food items at pick-up stations
Items are priced to help raise funds for the school. Funds can go to support facility rental, teachers, cultural and community building programs, etc.

2025年海外青年英語服務營
Application Guidelines for English Teaching Volunteer Service Program for Overseas Youth 2025
中華民國僑務委員會與教育部國民及學前教育署、客家委員會、原住民族委員會合作辦理「海外青年英語服務營」，自2006年開辦以來深獲市政府、學校、學生及家長等海內外熱烈迴響及肯定，為續鼓勵海外青年返臺從事英語教學服務，並增進臺灣之認識，招募資格將不限於以英語為母語地區者，將以擴大參與。
活動相關資訊如下:
(一)申請資格：
１、僑青：
(１)需持有本會i僑卡，於報名時已就讀11年級以上，且於2025年11月30日前滿17歲、至2025年7月5日未滿25歲（出生日期於2000年7月6日至2008年11月30日間，以護照所載出生日期為準）。現居英語系國家；非英語系國家者報名時需具備以英語為母語或英文檢定B2以上證明，並能以簡單華語文溝通者。
(２)報名客籍志工者須由僑居地客家社團推薦，報名表單請備註在臺客籍祖居地，以利優先分發至該地服務。
(３)前曾參加英語服務營者亦可報名參加，惟以未曾參加過英語服務營者優先錄取，倘尚有名額，前曾參加者擇優錄取。
２、臺灣華語文學習中心學員（TCML）或主流學校任教臺裔教師推薦學生：
(１)無須持有i僑卡，報名年齡、資格及繳交文件原則比照僑青。
(２)上揭志工於報名時需附上教師中文推薦信。
(二)報名時間：2024年11月25日至2025年3月10日止。
(三)報名方式：採用本會「僑務活動報名系統」
（https://register.ocac.gov.tw/cht/index.php?/sign/2025summer）進行線上報名作業。
(四)活動期程：2025年7月5日起至8月1日止：
１、7月5日(六)：志工接機、報到。
２、7月6日(日)上午：志工休息及調整時差
３、7月6日（日）下午至11日（五）：始業式、教育訓練及結業式。
４、7月12日(六)至25日(五)：在校服務。
５、7月26日(六)至30日(三)：寶島參訪。
６、7月31日(四)：成果分享會。
７、8月1日(五)：送機。
(五)核錄結果訂於2025年4月5日前於本會報名系統公告，錄取者應於4月30日前至系統勾選是否參加，並上傳機票購票證明、健康證明表、經申請人簽章之數位證書系統隱私權聲明暨個資蒐集處理授權書(滿18歲者則免家長簽名)、經申請人及家長簽章之肖像授權同意書及著作財產權授權書(滿18歲者則免家長簽名)、醫療保險證明影印本(可申請海外就醫給付之醫療保險)，逾期視同放棄(以臺灣時間為原則)。
(六)全程參與活動之志工將由本會核發80小時之中英文服務證明。

密西根舞獅隊邀請密西根中文學校，參加密西根舞獅隊一年一度捐贈給底特律弱勢家庭—Brilliant Detroit 的冬令保暖衣物及聖誕禮物drive又開始了，麻煩您宣傳，請家長在12/7（Sat)帶來學校，你們白天上課，我們會有人在那邊收集，當天下午捐出。 以下是衣服、禮物需求的項目0-8歲— 有任何問題，請隨時告知。 婉青感恩
說明： 我們很難想像底特律有些家庭的父母因故缺席，造成孩子吃穿冏困，我們不能代他們的父母照顧這些孩子，但是我們可以捐贈出多餘的物資，給貧困的孩子一個希望，您就是從北極坐馴鹿來送禮物、帶來光亮的聖誕老人。捐出的物品將會分裝給底特律低收入戶的孩子們，讓年幼的孩童穿戴暖和，有個溫暖的寒冬及快樂的聖誕節。說明附在末尾。這是受贈單位Brilliant Detroit的簡介：
