Our Annual Chinese Speech, Recite, Story Telling Contest and Multimedia Presentation is this Saturday 4/15/2023. This day is considered as a regular school day. Students who do not participate the contest will need to report the attendance at checking counter between 1:00-1:20pm and observe the other students’ performance.

The following items are the events and announcements for this week:

Staff Check-in: 12:15–12:30 PM

Judges Check-in: 12:30–12:45 PM

Students Check-in: 1:00 –1:20 PM

Award Ceremony: 3:45 — 4:30 PM

Speech order for Group 1-6, 9-10.

Group 7: Storytelling order will be drawn on the day of the contest by contestants.

中華文化夏令營 Michigan Chinese Folk Arts Summer Camp (Aug 14-18, 2023)

第三屆密西根中華文化夏令營
活動日期: 8/14/2023-8/18/2023
活動時間: 9 AM – 4 PM, 週一至週五
適合年齡: 幼稚園班到 8年級 (2023-2024學年度)
活動地點：Ward Church, Northville, Michigan
費用: 每位學員 $200 (於3/25/2023完成報名註冊並繳費者，享有折扣優惠)

活動內容包括扯鈴、皮影戲、武術、捏麵人、國樂打擊樂器、傳統舞蹈、書法、中國結、剪紙藝術等等…。(實際活動內容視情況調整不另行通知)

Michigan Chinese Educators Association (MCEA) is offering a Chinese Folk Arts Summer Camp in Northville, Michigan. The camp will run from August 14th to August 18th, Monday to Friday from 9AM to 4PM. Students ages Kindergarten – 8th grader in school year 2023-2024 are welcome to participate. No Chinese language skill is required.

The program includes Chinese Yoyo, Shadow Play (Chinese Puppet Show), Martial Arts, Dough Figurines (Chinese Play-Doh), Chinese Percussion Instruments, Chinese Dance, Calligraphy, Chinese Knotting, Paper Cutting (The program might have small changes without notice)
