僑務委員會中華函授學校業務自106年度開始轉型，自1月10日起至3月31日止將開放「中華函授學校遠距學習網」(http://chcs-opencourse.org/index.hph) 全部119門課程免註冊隨選隨讀。使用者進入主頁後，點選右上角紅色「2017年隨選隨讀」，即可選讀課程開始上課。
僑務委員會與承辦單位國立空中大學契約至本年3月31日屆滿後，「中華函授學校遠距學習網」之課程將逐步上傳至僑務委員會全球華文網(http://www.huayuworld.org)，未來有意進修之教師或有心自學僑民均可利用全球華文網選讀相關課程，達到不受時空限制進修之目的。
